Its a great place, can be located along the main road. It has a big parking area, with nature inside the compound. Food tasted yummy and serving size is right

Coming from Dumaguete and on our way back to Cebu City, we stopped by Barrio Kusina for dinner and it turned out to be one of the best choices we made during the trip. Their selection of Filipino dishes is truly a treat every plate was flavorful, well-prepared, and brought out the richness of authentic home-style cooking. From the savory mains down to the comforting sides, the taste carried both tradition and heart, making each bite memorable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy setup that made us feel right at home. Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or as a group of friends, the place offers the perfect spot to enjoy good food and even better company. If you’re looking for a dining experience that celebrates Filipino flavors and hospitality, Barrio Kusina is a must-try. A stopover here is more than just a meal it’s a reminder of why Filipino cuisine is best enjoyed together.

The place is not far from the town proper. You can take a tricycle and get there for PHP 10. It was nice and simple. There is a parking area. The staff are friendly. My food was well prepared and well presented. It was delicious and tasted perfect. I love the their pineapple-cucumber coolers. It matched the spicy-sweet taste of my chicken wings. It was worth my time. I recommend this as perfect get-together dine for family and friends.

Barrio Kusona’s version of pinakbet and crispy pata were both above average and delicious with big portions. The halo-halo was refreshing with real fruits, nata (not jelly), macapuno and crushed ice (not flavored). Overall if you are looking for a decent place to dine in the area that serves quality food and value for money, check this place out.

While the ambiance of the restaurant is undoubtedly charming and inviting, the overall dining experience could be elevated by improving the quality of the food. Despite the average dishes, patrons may still enjoy their time due to the pleasant atmosphere created by the restaurant's ambiance.
